Chapter 1:
Message in a Bottle
Sianodell was delivered a strange bottle of wine today at the Everbright. As the alcohol melts into your bloodstream you find its buzz to have more bite than bark.

Sharn: Upper Menthis
You hear the tapping of the rain, water, spray on a barrel and then a ship’s horn. In the distance a single chime of a church bell. The creaking of a door or deck, a door opening. The sharp clang of a blades clashing. The shadow of an airship and the spray of salt spray in your face.
You see, Guldavian stolen by a bat winged nightmare. A hand, holding a dagger is at the small of his back. Someone familiar spoke to him and he said, —“You will go further tonight”, and Guldavian lifted a shovel and sank it into the earth. A group of warforged sand to the side and point and laugh at him.
Suddenly he is running his hands through a woman’s hair. She takes hold of his wrist and leads him through a tunnel towards a light ahead. The entrance is blocked by fabric. The fabric parts and you find yourself in a wardrobe. Rows of dresses hang before you. Blue and green and gold. Those dresses turn into the sea.
You see a shore littered with the shards of a dragon.
Once again on the ship, you clamber across the ships deck. The sea is raging. In a panic you run to the bow. The ship lurches violently in the waves and you are pitched from the ship into the cold, cold water.
You are drowning in a sea. The sea should be wet, but its not. You are caught in the folds of blue, green and white capped fabric. It flows into your mouth, choking you. You swim for the sky and break the top of the fabric waves…you rise, above. Flying. Naked.
You reach the shore only to be met with violence. A fist in your gut. You swing wildly at the air. You strike…strike the door to your family home. It opens and you are greeting by a child. Holding out your arms to embrace them, they stab you in the stomach.
You fall to the ground holding your guts in. They pour out on the sand. The sand of a great desert. Thirsty, so thirsty, No water in sight.
You fall to the ground to die, your life ebbing out of you. Your body breaks apart and you feel that you have obtained some form of mental, physical, or supernatural perfection!
You stand on a golden bridge.
Strange voices and sounds emanate from further up the bridge. How do you make your way forward you discover hideous nightmarish creatures of dream. They block your way. They challenge your progress.
These beings of nightmare seem very familiar to Neema. They are her people, they are enemies of her people. The party fights valiantly and with the help of Guldavian, are able to defeat these nightmares and flee the dream.
