Session Overview:
Throwing Shade
The adventure begins in Cyndara, within the opulent and sprawling complex known as The Duskshade Lounge—a luxurious hub of entertainment and intrigue in the district of Zelgazar. This session serves as the starting point where the party comes together amidst a backdrop of high stakes, hidden secrets, and a looming inciting incident that will set the stage for their intertwined destinies.
Just when the night seemed to be settling into a rhythm, the party’s peace was shattered by the arrival of Strange Tiefling, a necromancer with a haunted past. She burst into the lounge, sending a telepathic warning to the party before tearing open a magical portal. A shared vision revealed her tragic backstory involving a plague-stricken village and her subsequent exile.
As the portal closed, it exploded, killing several nearby NPCs and revealing the hidden lower levels of the Duskshade Lounge. The blast left the party injured and disoriented, setting the stage for the next major challenge.
The Lyrical Duel
Minerva found herself drawn into a friendly contest of skill against the lounge’s star performer, Nialla Tezzin, who challenged her to a duel of verse and song.
Thritch repairs an individuals amulet, enchanted to cheat while gambling helping him win back his family ring and a tidy sum of money. He splits his winnings with Thritch. This sudden streak, caught the attention of the Gambling Overseer Zorik Malaskaar.
Dragon’s Dice
Grabthar was making waves at the gambling tables, winning round after round of Dragon’s Dice. His commanding presence and good luck drew the attention of the lounge’s gambling overseer, Zorik Malaskaar, who grudgingly admired the Goliath’s strength and fortune. This moment highlighted Grabthar’s boisterous, competitive nature and set the stage for a potential rivalry with Zorik.
The Mysterious Package
Eilibh found herself in the midst of a strange and cryptic encounter when a cloaked figure mistakenly gave her a sealed package meant for someone named Anara, warning her not to open it. The package, enchanted with a glowing rune, seemed important, leaving Eilibh and the party curious about its contents and the mysterious figure’s true intentions.
The package is sealed with a strange glowing rune.

The Heated Confrontation
Duruk declined to intervene in a heated argument between two men pretending to be, High Acolyte Ithan and Raimon the Rhymer, a poet accused of stealing dangerous magical relics from the Arcane Prelature. But by a stroke of luck, Duruk noticed a third shady figure enptying the pockets on onlookers. He report this to the guards who quickly discover this is a ruse designed to distract the crowd while they are being robbed. Ithan and Raimon take note of Durk as they escape.
Incidents and actions
Velvet Dreams of Nox
Explosive Revelations
The party finds themselves standing in a desolate village shrouded in mist, its name—Velrakhar—lingering in their minds. Once a thriving community in the isolated land of Nox, it now lies empty and ruined. They witness a Tiefling woman arriving at the village, her expression determined as she offers to help the villagers who are suffering from a devastating plague.
The Tiefling’s rituals are strange but sincere—she communes with spirits, searching for answers, her every move a plea for salvation. At first, the villagers trust her, but as more of their people disappear into the mist, suspicion grows. Rumors begin to swirl, and fear tightens its grip on the town.
The vision shifts to a night of celebration—the Festival of the Red Moon—where the Tiefling woman is seen alone at the edge of the village, performing a ritual under the blood-red glow of the moon. As dawn breaks, the village awakens to devastation: the crops are withered, animals vanish, and shadowy figures stir within the mist.
